The Long Bien Festival of Arts proposed to give to Hanoi, capital rich of history, its place in the main international cultural events. The Long Bien Festival of Arts will take place the 10 and 11 of October 2009, one year before the Millenium Celebration of the capital (1010-2010). Thos event has the ambition to bring art in the street and to create a meeting place to share and discover the richness and originality of Vietnamese art from past to present, in an unusual and surprising place, the Long Bien Bridge (ex-Doumer Bridge).
