The Festival of Arts LONG BIEN invites all the Vietnamese and foreign artists to work on their own history of the Bridge and to show their works during the two days of festivities on October 10 & 11 2009.
La Maison des Arts, organizing this festival, already received many contributions of painters, photographers, sculptors and hopes to exhibit the greatest number and various works about the interpretations of the Bridge and of its Memory.
1. Exhibition:
Collective exhibition on the Long Bien Bridge, ex Pont Doumer during two days
2. Conditions of the exhibition:
- The paintings size have to be of 120 X 120 cm .
- The photographs must have a rigid and light support.
- The work of each artist will be protected during its exhibition
- Spaces will be reserved for each artist retained for the Festival
3. Promotion of your work:
- Promotion of works by exhibitions programmed during the year in the Maison des Arts Gallery before the Festival
- Promotion through the Web site of the Festival with pages reserved to the artists
- Promotion of works during the two days of exhbition at the time of the Festival
- Possibility to sale your work with the Maison des Arts Gallery
4. How to apply:
- Fill the technical artist form on line / go to the web site
- Send us a one CV in English and/or French
- The technical information about your work you want to exhibit + jpg images of your work
- A text to explain your work and your personal relation with the Bridge
